Oiseau: The Magical Bird Blog Tour

Pink Umbrella Books is excited to announce the Oiseau: The Magical Bird blog tour, which will run October 8-15, 2019. Interested bloggers should email us at pinkumbrellabooks@gmail.com or post in the comments below.

About the Book:

Oiseau isn’t just an ordinary bird: he’s magical! When Miss Robinson’s class has trouble transitioning from one subject to another, Oiseau uses his magical powers to help. The students race to put away their books and take out the next subject before Oiseau reaches the bottom of his wire. And after he helps Miss Robinson’s class, Oiseau helps other children in the community and at home.

About the Author:

Debbie Wosnik is an author and a retired educator. She used Oiseau in her classroom for 34 years as a substitute teacher, elementary teacher, elementary school counselor, district gifted coordinator, and even as a junior high counselor. Oiseau, however, is not retired. He is excited to help kids for years to come. Debbie delights in watching her five grown children be a force for good in the world.  She loves telling her grandchildren stories.

About the Illustrator:

Andi Jorgensen loves to sing with color. After receiving a BA in Art from Smith College, she raised her three children in Norway. For twenty years she taught art to children of all ages in Switzerland and Florida. Her colorful artwork has won several awards. She now lives in Logan, Utah, with her family, her border collie, and a bird just like Oiseau.
